  • you suck at hacking =\

  • That's because i didn't spent my cybernetic modules i gained while i was recording the vid (in order to save time). OR maybe you think so because you are playing the game on easy mode...

  • How do you hack @ 0:22?

I have tried to click on those dots (those dots you clicks on) but nothing happends.

    Please someone help me :(

  • The dots are placed randomly; click the reset button and try until you get 3 in a row (the dots with red outlines will sometimes make the crate explode). You will lose some nanites each time you click reset though.

  • What system is this for?

  • Windows 98, but works with Windows XP if you apply a patch, go to strangebedfellows for more info (link in video description)

  • Bioshock was inspired by this.

  • Actually the Thief games and this one use the "Dark Engine" developed for Looking Glass Studios in the late ninties but a lot of folks (especially those at PC Gamer) sometimes called it the "Thief Engine" I guess because it was perhaps the first game to use it. The "Unreal Engine" came out about the same time but was developed for Epic. It IS a far better FPS engine but there was something about the other that make me a fan of these games. Creatures always looked creepier on the "Dark Engine".

  • Xerxes sounds like Father from Alien Resurrection, maybe it was based on Xerxes ...

    probably a coincidence ...

  • I want that woman to talk dirty.

  • One of the best video games ever. EVERRRRR!

The one thing I do absolutely hate about the game though is those freaking giant arachnid spiders. They creep the fucking life out of me. I know it's only a game but I hate going near them because it's fucking scary when they try and jump on you. That bit on deck 4 where the sim unit is rigged - I just jump over the ledge, insert the key and let the spiders kill me until I get re-booted in that life making machine. Decks 5 and 6 and 7 are my favourites

  • Hippest fucking game ever! The ambient sound effects are incredible...thanks for the memories

  • @BlueCap86 it runned on my xp pc without patches

  • This is GLaDOS's mother.

  • The many quote towards the middle of the video is one of my favorite in all video games.

  • The original models look creepier and better but the new textures and higher res looks great.

  • @Chuckeecheesed Do ye know how to run it as 32-bit? Keeps saying that I needa get it for 64-bit -_-.

And also, it works on Win7 because of all the fudging compatibilities it has.

  • I cant beleive i actually got this working on Win 7 xD
