Don't read to much into this video,it's not a true indicator of my strength.This was done right after work.I've also had two tough jobs with lots of overhead work so my shoulders are pretty beat up.Even so I'm still happy considering the situation.325 is a pr as a second set.Fresh and on a decent day 340 x 10 is more my true strength and 400 x 3...which I will betrying my next time out!

  • Bench press is by far my favorite exercise. I am currently just getting back into weight lifting after a several month break. I am only benching 225x10 right now though@180lbs. I am around 6'1 so my arms are pretty long. Any tips on increasing my bench?

  • @Fx4Ranger2002 Get your triceps strong by doing a lot of heavy close grip bench presses and skull crushers.Also do lots of military presses as well.Tricep strength is paramount in benching heavy weight!!

  • @krazziejrboi Thanks man! The spotter(my brother) does bench.He benches about 200 lbs with a reverse grip...he's 62 yrs old.

    Was chest day was today and it went great, i had no wraps or anything, wasn't even at my own gym, got wrecked last night so it wasnt boding well, anyway, i hit an easy 200 for 8, so i then did 210 and got 8 reps out which smashes my PR by 5lbs :) So then i thought F*ck it and went for 225 and got out 5 solid reps after those 2 sets, take away the 210 set i coulda got 6,7 maybe even 8!!

    Next week 225 is mine!!!!!
