I've got through some of the comments and havent seen any that reflect the true meaning. This song is about one simple thing. What he feels to be the ultimate betrayal. He placed everything in this one person and they turned on him, seemingly overnight, thus the reference to how quick the sun can drop away.

It´s funny because i´m depressed, and I tried to meet with friends and hang out, but they stay in house playing PS3. I tried to get entertained learning this song with bass by ear, but now I reminded hoy much I suck learning songs by ear. So I got more depressed. Right now I´m listening to this song, don´t doing anything more except expecting more pain or a miracle.
But, you know? Someday I will return to this same video and I will laugh at the depressed guy who wrote this comment.
