It's a shame that mention of his sin is even BROUGHT UP. No one should care. God doesn't, as Vickeyk so eloquently put it. It means NOTHING. There is no reason for anyone to ever mention it again. It's gone, done, washed away by the blood of God. And, brother Swaggart is STILL being used of God.

This song still gives me goose pumps whenever i hear it like the very first time back when i first become a christian and invited jesus christ in my heart..ohhh what an encounter i had with my saviour..couldnt stop crying for ages..even now when am listening to it i still wipe tears of my eyes..very power lyrics and a very anointed singer...halleluiah to the lamb of God..his blood still sets men free..thanks alot for posting this great master piece..God bless..

With Easter close by .. we all can see the crosses, the nail scared hands Of our Savior, that paid our sin debt and forgives us so freely. We all need to watch as time is so close for our Dear Saviors return.

I grew up on Jimmy Swaggart. He was so powerfully used of God and has left us treasures like this song, so many great messages, so many lives touched and millions of people reached for Christ. While we learned that Jimmy is just like us (flawed and in need of God's continuous forgiveness), I'm so grateful for Jimmy's service to God. Thank you Jimmy, and thank God for using Jimmy.
