Turbo Geo Metro First Start

Well, after one long week of fabrication, we finally were able to start the car. This setup is somewhat different to the original setup. I went with a front mount intercooler that mounts in the bumper fairing. The piping runs through the fender well to avoid running right over the hot turbo and manifold. The T25 turbo does not have a compressor bypass valve like the TD04-13c did(I blocked this off and used a blow off valve), so it is much smaller and allowed me to put the air filter right on the front of the turbo.
So here is the breakdown:
Garrett T-25 turbo, .48 compressor and .49 turbine housings, wastegate set to 5psi stock.
Manual boost controller to raise the boost to 6.5psi
Standalone fuel enrichment circuit that activates at 4.5psi
27x5x2 inch front mount intercooler, this is just at basic universal ebay intercooler
2 inch intercooler piping with blow off valve
160 degree thermostat, gotta keep that extra heat under wraps
Transmission oil cooler
2 1/4 inch exhaust system, 20 inch resonator midline with a 6x10 glasspack at the tip, no fart cans!!

actually this motor was turboed a long time ago. same motor came in the Chevrolet Sprint, and some of them came with factory turbos.

I know, suzuki made all flavors of this car. The turbo 1L had port fuel injection, not throttle body injection. It had a tiny RHB31/32 turbo. Mine was not turbo, I just needed to merge onto interstate safely :>)

might as well have turbo'd ur moms vibrator while you were at it....it'd probably be a close race. this car is blasphemy. sorry. im sure you do good work and you seem to have a firm grasp of basic mechanics which is why i dont understand why you would boost a geo. im a volkswagen guy and i hate hondas but i'd much rather see a turbo civic then some whack geo turbo that still runs 16's

The reason I turbocharged the tiny 1L 3 cylinder is because this was a steeping stone to the next engine I am building now, a 16v 1.3 turbo motor. I also turbo d the geo because you never see a turbo geo, plain and simple. There are turbo hondas and VWs all over the place, it is quite played out. bottom line, when you can take a 1L and halve the 0-60 time and give most cars a run on their money, you have something nice

@RadOne83 The stang driver obviously couldnt handle the shift throw, because that is absolutely obsurd... Coming from a guy with a v8 BMW X5 that tore a 92' 5.0 up in every aspect.. They were slow, yes. I think you need to get real, Ford has come a long fucking way in the past 5 years. If its anyone, chevy deserves to be shit on, billions of $ from the fed and they still produce more lemons then gems. Seriously, what kind of a manufacture doesnt measure inconsistencies in parts?
