I made this video as a teaching exercise for my 200-hour yoga teacher training class at The Yoga Shop in South Windsor, CT ( http://www.theyogashopct.com ).
The transition from Warrior 3 (Virabhadrasana III) to Half Moon pose (Ardha Chandrasana) is one of my favorites because it involves complete body awareness. I hope you find this video helpful and inspiring.

Hi David, should a person be pressing in their abs to help stabilize these and other poses? I come from 4 years of Pilates training and they keep abs tucked in through out the training.

Great demonstration. I like how you showed an alternative for beginners by not bending forward all the way into warrior 3. I will be doing this practice with my students. Thank you!

For beginners the femur head is grinding and can create problems. Asking the viewer to embody the movement and pull themselves out of their hips would be a nice addition. imho
