Here's some more Mario Kart. I was put into some...interesting rooms this time around.
For the races, I picked Waluigi in the Offroader. It's not the best combination out there, but it's the closest thing to Dick Dastardly. Waluigi tries to cheat as much as he can, but so are all the other racers, which makes him fair game. For the battles, I picked Rosalina because I usually use her in races but not for Battle Mode.
Race #1
Daisy Circuit
The racers in this room were a tightly-packed bunch, which is refreshingly rare. It means two things are going to happen: It's a war zone in that crowd, with items flying everywhere; and when you do get caught in the fighting, you're going to drop many positions, if not all the way to the bottom. After the race is over, you'll also see that this is the first room I've been in, for a while, where Wii Wheel users make up less than half the player count.
Race #2
Rainbow Road
You'll see I was bumped around a lot at the beginning here, even getting bumped off towards the end of the first lap. The Offroader is the lightest of the heavyweight vehicles. In spite of its size, this makes my combination the lightest among heavyweight choices. It's strong offroad (of course), which is of no use in a stage like Rainbow Road. It comes in handy in some other stages though. I'll explain in the next video.
Battle #1
Balloon Battle
N64 Skyscraper
Unlike in the races, everyone here used the Wii Wheel. And here, there was a definite imbalance on how the battle played out. If you take a look at the map, you'll see that the Red Team will often converge upon one Blue Team member and mug them. Or if they're not aiming at anyone in particular, will gather together in one spot. I don't know how they can have such a level of cooperation. You'll see the Dry Bones player often stays in one spot as the other two defend him. If they find themselves anywhere else, they'll quickly come back to over there. The strategy is not quite as effective on this other player though, and they split up--which is where the annihilation began. I'm not quite sure what happened, but there was suddenly a wave of Red Shells. The next video will cover more about this too.

@TheMarioStudio What's to apologize about? There are hundreds of people playig this game every day, if not thousands.

Just incase I ever do end up meeting you in a match, if you see a small Mii named Aeris, that's me.
I must ask; is it better to have auto-drift when using the wii-wheel?
GamerWii312 9 months ago
@GamerWii312 Automatic drifting is meant for the Wii Wheel, so yes.
