  • @entropyunleashed1 I wouldn't say no, if one were to appear at a good price - on eBay they mostly seem to sell for £30 or more, which is a bit ridiculous, and is why I opted for the less popular 'Super' version. I'm not too worried about outside appearances, as long as it's in decent working order...

    In the early 80s Texas Instruments brought out a varient model called Speak & Maths - basically a glorified talking calculator. Now THAT would be perfect for a Rammstein sing-along; "Nine!...Nine!"

  • Are you still looking for a 1978 Speak & Spell? Have seen a few at car boots so can keep my eyes open if you're interested. Now imagine how much fun you could have typing in Rammstein lyrics to a German speak & spell!
