  • Does anyone know where the entire show cxan be obtained?

  • @deeb1978 No Idea on that I have Monday to Thursday of the hour shows but apart from What I have posted on YouTube (9 clips) there wasn't much more than bad inteviews and not very good footage. There was a Malcom guy on night shift at Edinburgh where a tandam wasn't allowed to travel, BTP night shift in Sheffield which was all staged a section in Tyne yard on TOPS with a class 20 but very brief. I am not uploading any of that as they weren't as interesting as my 9 other posts.

  • "And thats it...1:30am, the gates close, but in three hours time it all starts again..." Yes, I remember the Edinburgh. I think a stranded passenger got a special arranged for her late at night, possibly on an ECS. What are the chances of that happening these days?

  • @deeb1978 Tandems banded by some guards...no BG's to convey them like surf boards....I look out for what was on the Wednesday but I only have half of Friday ran out of tape or clock set wrong?

  • the good old days

  • @salfordbabe indeed they were!

  • i think rail watch should be doune againe

  • Fortunately you are wrong. The depot is still there, and is still used to service locos. It's a shadow of it's former self though and you will only see a couple of locos there in the week. They still stable at the weekends. Andy

  • Spent many hours at Kinsley to South Kirby, filling and discharging coal from HAA's at South Kirby.

We also loaded from many pits to Fiddlers Ferry and the Aire Valley Power Stations.

These pit were Dodworth, Wooley Bunker, Grimy, British Oak, Bowers Row, Houghton Main, Royston Drift, Brodsworth Manvers and many more

Alas all these pits and more have been closed, and the railways lifted, and houses built on the sites.

Thank the crimminal Maggie thatcher for this.

    Now Healey Mills has gone.
