The books are so much better than the movie

i was head over heals disappointed in this movie. the scenes were all over the place and what happened in this movie had absolutely nothing to do with the book. on the bright side the acting was good and i like the actress for lena.

My daughter didn't read the book and liked the movie. I read the book and thought they did a terrible job at adapting this book into a movie. The acting is fine. Emma Thompson as Mrs Lincoln was great. The problem was the writing and directing. This movie is not Beautiful Creatures from the book, it's Beautiful Creatures from another dimension. If you read the book, don't watch this movie. You will be disappointed.
