I thought it was really cool. I've never seen anything like this in a HS.
BTW, hiattech *previous poster* yes, we still do this dance even now and we love it. We just do it a bit different.

This isn't maypole dancing. maypole dancing half of the people go clockwise half of them go counter clockwise

Thanks for posting this. I wasn't aware that they did Maypole dances anymore since it originates from the early 1500s or late 1400s. Pretty cool stuff.
