@wombatkid83 Tribute to Troy played typically at defensive stops and as required to pump the team up. Fight On! played at all first downs. Conquest! played after all scores. All three songs are played during the pre-game show.

i'm in the band at usc. we play both songs constantly throughout the game. we play just the first short phrase of Tribute to Troy when our defense hold the offense to a gain of 5 yards or less. we play the 3rd chorus of Fight On when we get a first down.
USC had a chance to flee the inner city like Pepperdine did in the early 1960's and chose instead to stay in the community and work to improve the life of the people in it's community. The Board of Trustees should be commended for their commitment to the people of Los Angeles.

I'm not a USC fan, but those are 2 classic college football songs.
