@Rushlimpballs Not sure of the actual place, but if you do a search for Roddy Piper here on YouTube it may come up. I think the person who posted the clip is "rland19871" or something like that. He also has the footage of all Mighty Joe Thunder's WWF TV matches so you may even get a link to Piper through a lookup of Mighty Joe Thunder.

Piper has his events mixed up a bit. The incident he refers to actually was in Hamburg PA at a taping of "All Star Wrestling" (the clip is posted here on YouTube) and not at MSG. In the clip, Piper attempts to play his bagpipes while ring announcer Joe McHugh holds a mic for him. Piper blows and blows, but no sound comes out except for a couple of quick wheezes.

That's some pretty low class from the guys who sabotaged his show, but I guess "ribs" like that are common place in the wrestling business. :S

Oh, I think he was talking about when he made a brief WWWF appearance in WWWF in '79 or '80, if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know if I would look back at someone costing me 10 years of my career very fondly. The way he tells the story just shows that Piper is a class act in the profession.
