Naomi Wolf Celebrated Author of "The End of America"

The USA is not & never has been a democracy. Such is conceivable now with the internet or the phone system, wherein all citizens would pass laws by vote. What the USA has is a Mixed Constitution (see Polybius for the classical treatment of this system): We have elements of monarchy (pres), oligarchy (SCOTUS), & republic (Congress). Worst of all we have #4 = beaurocracy (unelected, unfireable appointees) who actually run things.
