  • @tapilaha if you can make it fit then put it in the original control cavity

  • i saw in another graphtech vid that the pre-amp fit's in the control cavity... allthough this one advices you to route a new one? sooo, which one is it? ;)

  • I wouldn't ever attempt this... seeing the wood chips fly is worse then seeing blood LOL

  • That's a little butch, no?

  • @conor1148

Why would that make any difference? I have been into guitars for 2 years, but into woodworking since I was 13.

The first thing any one who uses a router learns is to use a template or at least a guide. In this video the guy uses neither, which makes it look unprofessional.

It would have looked way better if he had just used 2 simple guide rails, that's all.

  • @Behindspace90 ooohhh, two years. tell me when you get about 5 more down.

It's a pretty decent job for without a template; agreed. But this then illustrates why you should always use a template... Allthough the routing isn't visible later on, it's still not neatly and not professionally done.

I have been building and restoring guitars for 2 years now and even I can notice that. So apparantly you are the one who doesn't know what he's talking about. ;-)

  • @Behindspace90 that's actually a pretty good job for without a template. you don't seem to know what you're talking about.
