This ceremony is practically identical to the handover of Hong Kong two years earlier - couldn't they have thought of something more original? The Chinese hav even used the same artificial wind machine on the flags!

macau is not china, its not colonialism, i support the african and asian descolonization, but macau and hong kong wanted to be british and portuguese , not chinese, at least, they are not chinese now but controlled by china

Why do people say that Hong Kongers and Macau folks care? Like Chinese people don't care who controls them. If everyone has a place to live and a table with food, nobody cares. When I went to Hong Kong, Hong Kong was the same exact Hong Kong, except there are no Union Jack flags. For Macau, it is a totally different story. Macau is so much better and safer now, thanks to Chinese rule. Macau use to be so dangerous.
