direction of force on conductor A should be down

for a generator i dont really get the slip ring commutator. It is opposite to the split ring commutat as it doens't revere current and therefore why does this produce a AC current?

So will there possibly be an edited video where the force of point A is up? The rest of the video after 4:50 should be incorrect.

at 4:50 u are wrong ! point A force is down !. ur fingers are supposed to point to the right and ur thumb into the page, thus force is up. dude~~~` -_-
