Jamaican Reggae icon, and unofficial "Climate Change Education Ambassador" Lloyd Lovindeer speaks on May 4, 2010 to participants of the My Island, My Community regional Climate Change Education Workshop, involving the Caribbean Islands of the OECS, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago. The Workshop was organised by Media Impact, Inc of New York. (Talk about this World being a Global Village!)
Lovindeer spoke on the artistes involvement in the popular Voices for Climate Change Education Project which emerged in Jamaica and which has the potential to be duplicated throughout the Caribbean, and the rest of the world. The feature ends with the music video of the theme song of the project in which many top Jamaican artistes gave their voice to encourage persons to take the necessary actions required to help mitigate against the impacts of climate change.
Enjoy...then DO SOMETHING to mitigate Climate Change effects in your locality!
