Zelda: Skyward Sword - Extra - Fledge Quest (Gratitude Crystals)

For another 5 gratitude crystals, you need to power up Fledge, you know, the weakling who couldn't even lift some stuff..
In order to do that, go to him at night, speak to him, turn to bed and make it morning. Get a potion of Stamina for him (preferably stock up another one, as you need two of them).
Make it night again and give him the potion, answer positively and turn to bed again, make it morning, and right after, make it night. Give him the other potion as well. Now make it morning yet again, and night, yet again.. Talk to him and he will be pushing well over 3000 times already when you enter his room. Nice warm up! He says.. and gives you 5 Gratitude Crystals.

Note: At night time, there are a lot of Gratitude Crystals laying around.. After the second flame, you can get Gratitude Crystals in your dowsing system by for example talking to Batreaux.

At 30 GCs, you get a Big Wallet and some amulet he warns you about for not being able to use any items from your item pouch when equipped.

He won't take the second potion. He keeps thanking me for the 1st one and always has the "..." above his head but keeps saying he'll get stronger.... Why won't he just take the second stamina potion. I've gone to him over and over again night and day night and day. I've beaten lanayru mining facility an everything. What am I doing wrong?

@ShadowWolf767 did you beat Lanayru Mining Facility? you'll need to have done that dungeon first I believe, perhaps even later on in the game. Events add up when you beat specific dungeons.

IF YOU'RE ON THE FLAME QUEST AT THE SAME TIME, TALK AND GIVE HIM A POTION AFTER YOU GET EACH FLAME.

I have a problem with this quest. I already gave him both stamina potions, but he won't give me the gratitude crystals! Whenever I talk to him during the day, he says: "Hey Link! Thanks again for the stamina potion! Why don't you visit me in my room at night sometime?" When I visit his room at night, he's always at 55 push-ups and he says: "Thanks for the stamina potion! I will keep doing push-ups until I'm strong just like you!"

Someone please tell me what to do!
