The Cardinals TRIED to extend him two years ago...5 years for $130Million....and they TRIED to extend him last year...9 years for $198Million....but he and his agent countered with a starting offer of 10 years for $275Million.
I am happy that he didn't sign here, now we have the money to fill the roster instead of having a lineup of Pujols, Holliday, and 6 shit bums. NOBODY here is crying, we're disgusted that he lied about why he left. Fine, take the money, don't whine about not being loved.
