NEVER BEFORE SEEN JORDAN FOOTAGE FROM '95 - Meeting Michael Jordan (1995)

Some Notes:

Thought you guys should know that this was edited "live" with 2 VCRs and a little mixer. Back in the day before computers this was all I could do. So I had to hit the music off the CD live, do all the voice over stuff live, and try and time it all while recording it onto another VCR. Very, very, very tough - and if you screwed up? You started over. So there's a million things I'd do differently of course. I have over 90 minutes of footage however, and I'm toying with the idea of putting a little sequel together with the leftover stuff.

Oh and, no one has mentioned it yet, so let me be the first: I know I should've asked Jordan about the heckler. I thought of it driving home. I was so nervous, and being so ballsy with that camera (that consequently was taken away from me the next time I went there) but instead of asking him about 70 (though we all knew they were gonna do it that year) I should have asked about that heckler 'cause that was priceless shit. Oh well.

@aydol23 Unfortunately this was made in 1995, well before I could "add the effect" of black and white or change the shudder speed. The film effect was a mode on the camera. If you notice in the video - I show what it was like without that effect (It's the part in color) and I'm pretty glad I only shot a little bit like that. It really shows the age of the piece.

Not sure if you're quite aware of how great/rare this material is to NBA & Jordan fans alike. You've uploaded some legendary footage here my friend, and were certainly extremely lucky to enjoy a day like this.

I'm sure you'll have a lot of requests for the footage in a downloadable format.

@det916 - Wow, thanks! I actually have 90 minutes un-edited... I may go through and try and find a few more minutes for a "sequel". So glad people are able to enjoy it. It sat on a VHS tape in a box for 15 years after I made it 'cause I had no way to share it. Yay YouTube... :)

@Adam4tvs i aint one to beg normally , but man ay...you gotta do this upload the stuff you got, i aint in the US and im never gonna watch an NBA game, this is as close as i will ever be to witnessing what its really like, and for it to be MJ just makes it that much better...
