As a tribute to our brother Larry Norman, we will be posting bits and pieces of this excellent interview we shot with him back in 2000. Here is his commentary on Gene Eugene of Adam Again as well as Terry Taylor and Mark Heard. Thank you Larry for being transparent with your heart and gifts to the music world. Your voice will be missed. By Eden Z Films.

  • His death wasn't highly publicized by all Christian media, but rather portrayed as "the passing of a great Christian artist." I applaud CCM for not openly idolizing a man who's only mission was to bring others to Christ through rock n' roll.

  • I've known Larry since I was in elementary school, grew up around the corner, and through his days of the 'People' band and his transformation. Thank you for posting all these. He is truely missed.

  • So what was the secular band he left back in the beginning?

  • @roaringwaterbay...Gene Eugene (Adam Again, Lost Dogs) and Mark Heard.

  • @AzureMonk sorry . . . Gene and Mark who?

  • Christ?

  • I met him in 1981 in Berlin, was a nice time. "Berlin `81 mit Volkhart Spitzer" A Great festival.

  • I was born 1967 and through the eighties we admired Larry very much as he gave the christian gospel a voice, a hard and radical voice. I loved this time and we saw Larry at Christmas Rock Night in Ennepetal, a little city in the west of Germany, where he made a tremendous performance in his black leather jacket and with the long blond hair. God bless him and all the people who remember this great time.

  • I met Larry one time and he mentioned Mark Heard of whom I also had some of his music!

  • I actually thought he looked pretty frail in this interview.
