The Lettermen have done a lot of their best work at Christmas time, and this song is no exception. In recent years Donovan Tea has been performing a solo version in their Christmas shows, and a fine job he does of it. This however, is the original harmony rendition done by Jim Tony and Bob in 1966. I hope you all enjoy it!

My favorite of all Christmas songs. I haven't got the sort of voice to sing this one. Whoever mentioned Celine Dion's version of this is right-it's a winner, as is the one by the Gatlin Brothers. I am a huge Josh Groban fan, and this song is a highlight of his Christmas CD from a few years back. We all need a little Christmas in August.

You have just made my day! How wonderful to find the original version instead of that wishy washy remake. I grew up with this one I am so happy now. Must listen to Celine Dion's version too. It gives me goosebumps!
