When did you purchase you cd's? I have a cassette tape of Dr. Hee that I bought in '87 or '88 that says Tribal Tech right on the cover. Unfortunately I haven't bought any more of his albums since then so I can't explain it. Perhaps Scott had to change the name because of possible copyright infringement. Just a guess but the fact still remains that I have the tape to prove it! :)

This is a cover of Vital Tech Tones, an incredible band integrated by Scott Henderson (Guittars), Victor Wooten (bass) and Steve Smith (drums).
I coudn't find another band like this, unfortunately VTT has released only two disc and then they have separated.
