Another series of great Butler sticks, so to keep things interesting we decided to shoot these demos at the Firehall Chad is a part of. This Didj is in the key of D and I really like it. when I first saw it on Chads site I thought it looked like a sleek, classy didj, the clean nice taper sliding into a pefect size bell makes it look like an instrument of professionalism and quality. I think the shape of it reflects the way it plays and responds, the first 2 trumpets are very easy and match nicely with the drone, the moderatly open top allows for vocals to come through while being tight enough to crank out the rhythm, which I think sounds amazing in the key of D. some D's dont really get up and go or have the backpressure or trumpet accessibilty to get rhythmical with, but D's like this didj that give you the rhythmical options come out sounding like a deep, full sounding rock n roll stick. once I discovered the richness of rhytmical D's it was like trying to play freebird on a penny whistle and then discovering the electric guitar. high didjs are great to but sometimes you want that mid range depth and power. Go for the gold, pick this didj up at www.bhumsiva.com
