It is a medical miracle for a 16-year-old girl who lived with an extra heart for years. She made a full recovery after the transplanted heart was removed in a unique operation.
Hannah Clark is a reluctant star - she's facing the media because she's a medical miracle.
She suffered heart failure when she was a baby, and at the age of two had a transplanted heart grafted onto her own one.
Free from the stress of pumping blood, Hannah's own heart was able to rebuild itself.
[Hannah Clark, Heart Transplant Patient]: (Female, English)
"I enjoyed running even though I couldn't run. Swimming I enjoyed, and shopping."
But Hannah had to take strong drugs to stop the body from rejecting the transplant, and four years ago she developed cancer.
Doctors decided to remove the transplant - an operation which had never been performed before.
In three years, Hannah has made a full recovery.
[Paul Clark, Father of Heart Transplant Patient]:
"We had to fight for it and sometimes we had to push her and say 'Come on Hannah, you can't give up, you have got to keep going', and this is where she is today."
[Professor Magdi Yacoub, Heart Surgeon]:
"I feel absolutely delighted, having seen her before in severe trouble on more than one occasion, it's an absolute delight. But that's what medicine is all about."
Relief for her surgeon and her family.
But this now healthy 16-year-old will never forget.
[Hannah Clark, Heart Transplant Patient]:
"I'm just glad the donor did what they did. I wouldn't be here. There must be a lot of trouble going through their life now, without their little girl."
Hannah's star status is of course temporary - her recovery it seems is not.
