Was Lykke influenced by the Cure by any chance? A lot of songs from both people have that echoey other-worldly feel to them.

And if you like simpler and less produced music, then Lykke Li delivers a lot of that aswell. You can even find a lot of acoustic and live versions of her songs here on youtube aswell and she have the skills to pull it of, unlike most true "industri-singers". Maybe you should just should be less judgemental and actual know anything, before you bring your BS forward.

Well, that is funny, because the entire comment actually proves to me, that you don't know shite about Lykke Li. She was a indie pop/ rock singer in years before she got a record deal. She is her own creation and she had her singning style and everything, before any company took her in, unlike most of what comes out of the industry these days.
