This is a video of the CIP we did in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We contructed a new fence for the students of River of Life School at Takmau Village as the previous one was old and rusty which was very unsafe. It tooks us 3days to complete the construction. While half of us are building the fences, the other half were conducting lessons and activities for the students at the school. We taught conversational english and played games with them. After all the programme at Takmau Village, we went to a dumpsite where we helped the villagers cut their finger nails and wash their hairs. Trough this we are trying to teach them personal hygiene.

What we had experinced at Takmau Village and the dumpsite had touched our hearts. Whenever we ended our lesson with the stuudents, all of them would stand up and sing us a song to thank us. In Singapore, have we even appreciate our teachers? We need to learn to cherish all the things we have now and not to take things for granted. Looking at the children there, they did not ask for anything much. But why are we always complaining and wanting more? We need to start to be a Thoughtful Servant Leader!
