The crumbling Angel face as the Father rants in church scared the shit out of me when I was young, but the film is great one of my favourite films, and the remake is great as well.

In my opinion, like the Psycho house, the Amityville Horror house would make a GREAT stage set-because, in my opinion, THAT'S something that LACKING in TODAY'S music business-the "SPECTACLE!" Refer to Ozzy's Diary Of A Madman/Speak of The Devil concert for an example.

I'm a fan of exploitation/grindhouse movies. But I must say this looks as crappy as the remake, I'm sorry to say =)

Gee, I thought this trailer was pretty bad-ass myself. Anytime you can see Rod Steiger freaking out is great with me.
But I haven't seen the remake and my recollections of this movie from a WGN broadcast years ago are very dim.
