Echo Progress Report 6-20-09

I'm finally starting to mix the album with Michael Koppelman!! Yay. It's so thrilling and exciting. Even if all the recordings are done, I can't relax, you know. The mixing and mastering are so so important too. You spent the last couple of years to make this record and suddenly your creations will be in some other guys' hands. Seriously. The most nerve racking time, to tell you the truth. Here I am today, recording the piano for the song " Suki To Ienai". レコーディングはほぼ完了ですが、これからが一番気を遣う時。ここ数年、精魂こめて作って来た音たちに、ミキシングエンジニアやマスターリングエンジニアの手が加わります­。命がけで守るぞ！という感じ。協力しながら最高の作品に仕上げられる可能性と、へたをするとめちゃくちゃにされちゃう可能性に秘められた一番緊張する時間なのです。でも­、楽しくやりますよ!!
