You are BOMB at getting your point across. You ALWAYS answer my questions without my even having to post them. I am TOO creative and artistic not to be a makeup artist & that's why I'm starting to do it. I live in the ATL & have my own little ' quaint yet exclusive' spa therapies business so since I love doing makeup, it'll fit right in. I LOVE doing different looks ( eyes - I already have like a funky signature style that I integrate into any look I ' create '). I think I'm pretty good! THX!!

thank you so much for this video. i am an aspiring makeup artist, and i am 14 years old. both of my parents are engineers, so they expect me to become something like that too. when i told them i wanted to be a makeup artist, they basically took it as a joke,said it wasn't a high paying career and not something i should rely on. they laugh at me because i spend too much time playing around for hours with my makeup. watching this videoi truly want to be a makeup artist now, so thank you so much!

@xSushiFlower Live your dreams child. I was 12 when I told my mom I wanted to be a beautician and she basically said no.

10 years later I am dragging my way through pharmacy school and "procrastinating" with makeup, makeup vlogs, makeup talks, forums etc. If we force ourselves to do anything but your dreams, a lot of us end sad... depressed even.

Erin this has been so helpful for me. The desire of becoming an MUA is like a fire in my belly. As i'm searching throughout YT there is so much knowledge that I am obtaining to perfect my craft and this has truly helped me understand that I can do this. I have watched a million different makeup artists on YouTube in the HOPES I could get some good solid info on becoming a makeup artist. You are the FIRST that I have watched to give good solid advice, provide websites to visit and to really make me feel as if I am talking to a friend about this rather than some snotty makeup artist who wants to use jargon and not be clear about what to do. THANK YOU SO MUCH! This gives me new hope that I can do what I love for a living if I just make the effort!
