Here are a series of pictures that I took today of the flooding that occurred right by my home in Fond du Lac, WI. You can see just how deep the water got. The firefighters were doing their best to keep people out of the water, yet some people still ventured out in to the water anyway. NBC 26 used some of my photos on the news.

This was the year that I first moved to FDL. It was strange coming home from my first year of school living here and it all just flooded I was kinda scared that it would always rain that much. Being only a sixth grader those are the types of thoughts that run through your mind...

i live over on 4th and national the whole city was goin crazy that night from tornado warnings ever half hour graduation being canceled flooding damage and much more wow

Ummm...I waded and swam in the water....My sister got a bad rash on her knees and legs...I for one got nothing. Terrible night. Didn't dare go to lake 4th St. Had to help Grandpa get rid of the water in his basement...I was bored past death...

Oh that sucks man. I learned the ph level in the water was so high it was practically causing flash rust on cars. Now I have a bad U-joint on my truck from it.
