Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising | Brand New Singleplayer Gameplay Footage - Maxed Out PC | HD

This game is pretty awesome. It's sorta what Arma 2 shoulda been. An upgrade on graphics and sound effects while maintaining the core features and adding some new ones in.
This game is also incredibly more optimized than Arma 2. I play this maxed out 8xAA and 8xAF 1680x1050. Highest settings possible and don't get lag. The only games I cannot paly maxed out like this are Crysis(Obviously) and Arma 2.

I am using my camera because while using fraps on this game - my FPS was capped at 15 no matter what settings and the end video was flickering black every second frame(thats where the other 15 went)

So sorry for the quality but I wanted to get a video up and this game only just came out today.

Once I figure out how to play multiplayer without dieing - I will do some MP videos.

i would have to disagree with you on that this is what ArmA 2 should have been. This looks so much more FPS and the way you move... it just doesnt feel right when I watch it.

Well. At first I bought Arma 2 and thought this would suck, but Arma 2 is only good with the right people playing with you. And the amount of bugs is horrendous. After about 1 - 2 months of Arma 2 it got incredibly boring and the close it got to the release date for OFDR - The more it seemed like a good game to me.

But everyone has their own opinion of different games - that is just mine.

Totally agree. Arma 2 needs good players to have fun with.

This one here is another the casual gamer type which you can start right after work and have some fun for an hour or less. COD-like. But that's it.
