You're Perfect To Me: Lancelot/Merlin

* POSSIBLE SPOILERS *
Alright writers fine you win, you have literally destroyed all my pairings in a matter of two seasons - Merlin/Arthur don't count, they're pretty much canon in my eyes - but did you really have to bring Lancelot back JUST to drive a wedge between Arthur/Gwen and then for him to get killed off? Again? :'(
It seems all my favourite characters are destined to be either: evil (which isn't neccessarily a bad thing), stuck as being a character that can't stand on their two feet or dead. I do not like dead.
But on the bright side, Lancelot DID come back right at the very end. D': I have never weeped so much in my whole life and that's the truth because FF13's ending made me bawl as well but seeing Lancelot die AGAIN. Poor Merlin. He is destined to be giving his loves a proper burial, first Freya and now Lancelot...When will this guy get a break?

On a much awkward side, am I the only one who noticed that the flowers Lancelot is lying on are similiar to the ones that were put up for Arthur and Gwen's wedding? LOL AWKWARD.

Oh, this is so beautiful! Love! The colouring is so pretty! I definitely agree with your comment (although I hadn't noticed the flowers thing...now I want to go back and check!). The episode also kinda annoyed me because they have given Gwen barely anything to do this Season and now she's gone (hopefully not for long)! It wasn't even her fault or anything, so it's not like she got to be an interesting, flawed individual and she caused her own downfall...that would have had way more impact.

@FemaleSpock Thank you thank you thank you! And yes...Gwen...This season (and every other season after S2) with Gwen...Not good imo. It seemed like she was only there as a device for Arthur's development and nothing else, which is a damn shame because Gwen's an amazing character and deserves more credit than given. Here's to hoping that the writers will finally see her potential not just as Arthur's 'wife' but as Queen Guinevere the BAMF!

I'm crying all over again. I can't even believe they would do that to Lancelot. I can't express my sorrow and disappointment at how they treated his character. Like you said in the description, they only brought him back to add drama to Arwen and then kill him off. This is a beautiful video. I loved their relationship so much, Merlin could be honest with Lancelot in a way he couldn't with anyone else and now he lost him. If I ever see the Merlin writers, I'm going to slap them in the face >:(

@RoseTyler11 Oh, I agree. That episode was SO depressing, not only because the Lancelot we saw was not the Lancelot we knew ... Just some soulless shell ordered around by Morgana. No (b)romance with Merlin anywhere! =( But I console myself with the fact Merlin was the first to notice the difference. And with the ending scene, of course. I hope it's not the end yet!
