Better then the original? I think so.
Frank did this cover for the Centrepoint "1969: Key to Change" Charity album, which was made to help combat homelessness in the UK. The rest of the album can be found by following the link below, and i highly recommend it, for a good cause and with some great covers on it.

@LSmithLUFC95 I never said that the Foundations sounded inappropriate :) My point was that better singing doesn't necessarily make a better version. Taste does.

The original is my favourite song ever... Love Frank's unique spin on it, it's really good. I wouldn't go as far to say better than the original, but by god, it's up there!

Okay, this is in no way, shape, or form better than the original. To say that shows ignorance, and I'm sure artists of his caliber would agree. A cover can never be BETTER than an original. Why? Because without the original, the cover would never exist.

Better than original? Not so much. It is a fantastic, original take on a classic song though. Equal in greatness for different reasons if you ask me.
