Gears of War 2 Video Review

10/30/08: Wow, jeeez, over 9,000 views! Thanks again my fellow GPs! I'm really happy more people are enjoying the review than not enjoying it.

But please, please guys try and keep it civil. I appreciate the criticisms about the video just as much as the praise, as both will motivate me to make more vids and make them better for everybody.

I knew this was bound to happen so I'm going to add this message here, if you got the game early and have finished it, PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE AND DO NOT RUIN IT FOR OTHER GAMERS BY SPOILING THE STORYLINE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION. If you didn't like the game, that's perfectly fine, nothing wrong with that at all! Vent your frustrations here, at GameFAQs, NeoGAF, or wherever forum you frequent, that's what it's all about. But please try and do that without killing it for other people.

10/29/08: I didn't think people would consider them spoilers and so put 2-3 second snaps of boss fight action shots to showcase how amazing the graphics look. I apologize to everyone who watched the video without knowing this earlier. :( I'm really sorry guys. Otherwise, there are no plot spoilers (at least I don't think), please point one out if you see it so I can put it in the WARNING section.

And yes, I know my voice sounds weird and that I'm going too fast near the end of the review. The problem is that my youtube limit is 10 minutes. The original video was actually 10 minutes and 45 seconds before I edited it. I squeezed off 20 seconds by cutting out the moments I took a deep breath, that's why it comes out weird. But I'd rather it come out strange, than completely cut content to maintain the totality of the review. And yes, Execution is still there, that was something I mentioned but probably accidentally ended up cutting during editing to get the video to 10 minutes.

10/27/08: Back again guys with a new video review! Just keep in mind that I really enjoyed Gears of War, so obviously it was inevitable that I'd end up really enjoying Gears of War 2 also.

It's almost impossible to stay biased as a result, but I'd tried my best to be as objective as possible. Please feel free to disagree my fellow GPs. Hope you guys all enjoy regardless!

Hey man, first i just wanna say i much i respect your opinion, you know exactly what your talking about and i can always rely on your judgement when deciding what game im getting next. I was a huge Gears 1 fan, every aspect of it i adored and it literally had no flaws. Some people said the glitchers put them off, but the satisfaction from killing them was immense. Gears 2 i saw as a let down though, the campaign was great but there is a difference from tweaking a game and changing it completely.
