  • @mismag999 Push the button on the side in when you rotate the flash head.

  • can any one please tell me ...how to rotate my sb 600 .......side by side.. but i failed..

i m not putting too much presure ..because i dont want to break my flash..but i wana rotate that all the way i mean.....side by side ....like left to right ..please tell me how to do that....please

  • I spent a fortune just to purchase one, and will not do that to the flash gun. Well at least, not now. Good to know that it can be done though

  • @itchyundies Nope, the flash is just fine. Many months later I dropped it, and it broke from the fall, but totally unrelated to this mod.

  • Yeah... I have two sb-600's and I would never do that to either.... to each his own, but I want to know that my flashes will work exactly as intended when it's most critical.

  • If I was you I would be REALLY careful opening and modyfing the flash... You can get a huge electroshock. And also... I really don't see the point of it.

  • Cool video...looks like you took a page out of the mod video I did with Lee Morris. Very cool stuff. Can't believe how much I like the SB800s more than the 900s....especially with this crucial mod!

  • me to... pointless

  • i dont see this being worth it.

  • ok first off this is a little wrong, you should shave one side, only to a little pass the middle point, and then you should also file a notch in the part that doesn't have a notch, so it clicks at 135*.

of course i dont recommend doing this as i broke something in my flash .

5 minute worth of work with a dremel and a good file, and you got a more functional flash.
