I think, perhaps, that you start the answering piece with the 'green goddamn' because it may be the seasons that are speaking to one another; or the seasons of the body; or the seasons of life. Somehow, you are very young in this monologue; born in late October, but finding your voice. Raised in Wisconsin and Minnesota, you are a child of Winter. In Summer the sun comes oh so much closer, caressing without touching.
