Dexter Beckett (October 15th Awareness Video)

I am 1 in 4 women who have been affected by miscarriage, stillbirth & infant loss. My sweet baby Dexter was born prematurely at 29 weeks & lived 11 hours. This can happen to ANYONE. It knows no race, no creed, no religion, no social status. Please make Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness something we can talk about. Let's end the SILENCE! This is dedicated to my son & to all the amazing angel parents I have gotten to know over the last year & a half.

My nephew is born at 29 week and when i first saw him i started to cry and his mother told me " at least we loved him " , i couldn't endure it..i was devastated but he survived,doctors said that he was no able to live but he did it ...because of this childbirth my sister ( his mother ) cannot give life anymore , my nephew is kind a miracle for her ...She told me after she already had a miscarriage

i admire my sister for her bravery and i admire you too , this is really hard to live , RIP Dexter

@SJKidsNyuki Thank you for your comment. I am glad your nephew survived. Most babies have a good chance at 29 weeks due to medical technology. Dexter's little brother, Milo, was born this year also at 29 weeks but he made it & is now almost 6 months old.

@calikusssh23 I am so sorry for your loss. I know the devastation you must feel. May I suggest looking at faces of loss dot com .. it really gave me hope & a resource in meeting others for support. Support is SO important.

on july 4th 2009 my sister was born early and lived for 12 min and passed away we were all devistated so i know how u feel and so sorry for ur loss

@BrittanyLatham55 My doctor also informed me I have 75% chance of miscarrying any child I conceive.

I thank God for both of my babies. I thankful for the 11 weeks I got to carry my angel, and for the two months so far with my little girl.

My first pregnancy ending in a miscarriage at 11 weeks. It hurt so bad. I cried for weeks and still to this think about what my baby would have looked like. It was not even four months before I was pregnant again. We did not plan to get pregnant. I had an emergency c section at 33weeks and 1 day. My doctor told me they found out I had only half a uterus and one ovary. They informed me that it was amazing I got pregnant in the first place. I will never be able to carry a baby full term

i am so srry for your loss. my little sister was born with a birth defect and after a couple segeries(s/w) my mom had to make the choose at pulling the plug three days after she was born. i was really young when it happened and didn't understand it much but as i got older i greaved for her and my older brother who died when he was 5.

wow really sorry for your loss.. i dont have any children but i have some close friends that have children and if anything ever happened to them i dno what i would do. stay strong ..
