One of the instructors shows me what the 911 is truly made for. This car is the base model, but there is nothing base about the performance it can lay down on the track.

Please excuse the moving about, it is due purely because of the g-forces. (I had only a shoulder belt on and both hands were on the camera)

By watching this you can learn the perfect line and braking points for the Barber Motorsports Park track.

  • Very cool.. did you buy the car?

  • yep, logical transition of ownership:

    944 $5,000

    Boxster (used) $20,000

    968 $15,000

Carrera RS (multiply the above by x4-x6)

    Good luck

  • Great video!!

Your very ambitious! Hope you know what those '73 Carrera RS's go for... =)

  • Barber Motorsports Park. Birmingham, Al. Porsche Sport Driving School.

  • You did better than I did - I tried! But it was my first time ever in a race car. I had NO CLUE what I was in for. It was awesome! The ride - not my video. Yours is excellent! Will come in handy as I learn the tricks of the track.

  • I would say the camera handling is a bit average but I have also been round for a hotlap in a porche gt3 race car and I know how it is.

    What racetrack is that??

  • Cool, nice one, thanks for sharing!
