  • The Messiah kept the Passover with His disciples the night before His death

    (Luke 22:15). He died on the cross the next afternoon, which was still Passover (the 14th of Abib or Nisan ,according to the Hebrew Calendar (Leviticus 23:5). Leviticus 23:6-7 shows that the next day, beginning the evening after His crucifixion, was not a weekly Sabbath, but an annual Sabbath (The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread).

  • Good friday is a lie. 3 days and 3 nights...do the math. Jesus the Messiah did not die on good friday. Please read your Bibles.

  • Remember this Christ gave his life for all especially the most unworthy the greatest thing you'll ever be able to do as a child of God is to sacrifice yourself for a perfect stranger

  • A correction. There are no Masses celebrated on Good Friday. There are Holy Communion Services with the Eucharist from Holy Thursday's Mass of the Lord's Supper and Veneration of the Cross, but no Masses on Good Friday.

  • I live in north eastern canada and good friday here is a bigger shopping day than boxing day. To me good friday means that Walmart is the "STORE OF STORES".

  • even though the crucifixion is sad, it is also the reason we celebrate and worship. Christ died for our sins, for our salvation. there is nothing more worth celebrating
