Any updates on this video, Mello? Did they respond to your complaint?

@MelloVEL0 Thanks for that. I'll have a look for one of those.

HOW MUCH ROOM DO YOU WANT?: Please see Taypet21's 'Cycle Video Day 10th October 2011' video, and if your time is limited fast-forward to 2:32 to see just how important it is to give vulnerable cyclist room.

"How much room do you want!!". I usually answer "about 8 feet actually". It does seem to throw them because they don't expect you to have a specific answer.

@growingvegetable I think TRA 1988 s3 is more relevant, and gives an easy remedy via PRA 2002 s59.

Just out of interest, where is your rear cam mounted? I've got another cam to use as a rear cam but I am struggling to find somewhere suitable to mount it.

@Lukeybloo ...it's on the end of the handlebars (small veho type camera) using "360 Swivel Bicycle LIGHT Mount! 2-4cm! USE YOUR TORCH!" like on ebay or cheaper on deal extreme(if you can wait that long).

If you can grab the straps on the back of the truck and get a free tow.... that's too close!
I know that the picture for rule 163 looks great, but it's not always practical to expect that kind of overtake.
But, I've always felt that if you can touch their vehicle, they're overtaking too close.
But this guy's a cake-taker if he thinks that's reasonable.
One puncture, wiggle, crosswind or pothole, and you could've been under his wheels!

@Cliffjumper24 You're right, I don't get that kind of 163 space on a lot of 60mph passes.
It's an odd overtake, he does it after the crossing but where the road opens out & is wide enough to get in another lane, but another foot or two would have felt safer and less scary!
I could have reached out to the straps for a free tow I reckon, short ride.
