This a review of Voice actions from the Android Market installed and using the SVOX Voice of Victoria.

Some unique features and it seems much better to use than Speaktoit.

  • Useless questions/funny answers: Ask "can you kiss me" => will respond "no, no mouth" Ask "Whats better Android or Apple" it will lecture you that you can´t compare an operation system with a brand, and that the correct question should be to compare Android with iOS"

Say "go f*** yourself" it will respond that it´s sufficient to say stop talking "What sound does a dog/catmake?" => it will play a sound clip of the animal "How me a photo of cat/house/car" it will show you a photo it

  • * Ask "can you speak spanish / dutch / german" it will respond in that language and from that moment you can say your commands in that language (a bit dangerous as you will need to say speak English in the other language to switch back, or go into settings to reset the language)

  • For those who want to test "Voice actions" here are some more things it can do

    * Ask "what's the square root of 2" / "how much is 12 times 88" => it will give you the answer

    * Ask "How much is 12 inch in centimeters" => it will convert the unit and say the answer

    * Ask "can you speak louder / faster / slower / softer" it will change it´s output

  • Great to see the quick follow up; a few comments If you want the weather in Celsius you can add "in Celsius" to the sentence (eg "whats the weather outside in Celcius") If you install the SVOX voice data of another language it will pronounce the translations correctly.
