  • I admire the way Nicholas references Cristobal; rather than copy the archives as SO many others do, he finds a pleat, shoulder, hem, sleeve, or bow and from there creates something entirely of his own. I appreciate honesty and originality. The 60's would have LOVED Nicholas, but I'm thankful we in the 21st century have him. I would kill for a shirt made of those ribbons, or even for a glance at these clothes in person. This is as close to traveling to the moon as I'll ever get.

  • haha i think i have a crush on nicholas ghesquiere

  • Balenciaga new york store has the worst, most unprofessional customer service ever!

  • OMG I saw and touched one of the dresses (1:22) and the shoes in person, they were amazing. When you see it on the runway, it looks like so simple and light, but when I actually touched the dress, it was leather or something, but constructed impeccably.

  • He says the word ''crin'', which is a light but solid fabric used to create volume or to rigidify collars, hats, etc. It comes from palm trees. Not to be confounded with ''crin de cheval'', which is horse hair.
