@abebe5017 It is a shame the state it got to, but, I was there just a couple of weeks ago, its gradually getting better. The tower complex is all being restored and the Wintergardens are all being restored too (Im part of the team who look after the Opera House Wurlitzer). They are looking far better than they have done for a long time!

@3dwurli Oh I know it was a classy place to be, it was the focal point of British tourism! It's just a shame the council and government let it get into, and I don't mean to be rude, such a state. The same also applies to Weston-super-mere. But I hear you about the winter gardens and of course the tower!

@abebe5017 Blackpool was at one time, VERY classy. You should visit the wintergardens and the tower, they are outstanding places, far better looking than anything built today. Hence the grade A listings
