My e-classic 2300 hasn't ever burned that clean. Only time it stops smoking is when it's not calling for heat.

The smoke comes out of the door because of the mixture of a colder air meeting the combustible gas inside produced from the materials being burned. Smoke will come out every time this happens. It's still a hot fire and heating very well. 179 is a very hot water level.

Hot fire?? Not really. The firebox is full of smoke. If the fire was hot that smoke would be burning. It's impressive that no smoke is coming out the chimney, I guess that's why you say it's a clean burn. That's some good technology it seems.
