I love watching your videos. I am currently studying all of them learning from you, on how to make my own atlatl/darts. The only question I have is the darts, do u use the end that is closest to the ground as the foreshaft end?, thanks. again your videos are a pleasure to watch and very informative. You do a great job.

Tom, that is just too cool, I can see now why many ancient cultures kept using atlatls after they had bows, they can be incredibly accurate. I think I will make some darts and give it a go again....jim

That would be great Jim! You should come out to the Pasadena archery range for our gathering on Sunday the 28th.  We can make some darts and atlatls and get you going. Maybe do some knapping too.

You're good, there's no denying it. Even without the kick-start, your accuracy dropped my jaw.

I've joked that if I had to hunt with an atlatl, I'd have to hope that mammoths were back, because I can't hit anything smaller.

Those are badass! They seem so much more convenient than a bow. Easier to make too.
