i think Arshavin would have been gutted that the crowd were so disgusted with him coming on in place of chamberlain. i think that kind of reaction would have heartbroken him. no disrespect Arsenal fans, but seriously, sometimes you need to wise up.

@EarthquakeStar To be honest, I just think he wanted to leave England. Him, Nasri and Chamahk could both produce that bit of magic that could win a game when Arsenal were playing poorly. Now Nasri and Arshavin are gone and Chamahk never plays so the pressure is all on Van Persie who can't score in absolutely every game.

But when you're not playing or coming on for 5 minutes against good teams, for 45 minutes against bad teams, you lose confidence and game experience that keeps you sharp. What snapped Wayne Rooney out of it when he went through his lengthy drought was being played regardless of his form, because eventually his class would come through again. Even great players go through slumps; they're human too.
