Mulan is a 1998 American animated film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation, and released by Walt Disney Pictures on June 19, 1998. The thirty-sixth animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics, and a part of the Disney Renaissance, the film is based on the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan. Mulan was the first of three features produced primarily at the Disney animation studio at Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was directed by Tony Bancroft and Barry Cook, with story and screenplay by Robert D. San Souci, Rita Hsiao, Philip LaZebnik, Chris Sanders, Eugenia Bostwick-Singer, and Raymond Singer. Development for the film began in 1994, when a number of artistic supervisors were sent to China to receive artistic and cultural inspiration. Mulan was well-received by critics and the public, grossing $304 million, earning Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations, and winning several Annie Awards including Best Animated Feature. Mulan features a score by Jerry Goldsmith and five songs by Matthew Wilder (music) and David Zippel (lyrics), with a sixth originally planned for Mushu, but dropped following Eddie Murphy's involvement with the character.

Back in the very early 90's mid 90's and late 90's the quality of the American music are the best back in those days ! 2000--2011 is a big thumbs down same with therir tv shows nowadays like nickelodeon and Disney channel !

@jan8919 omg i agree!! most of us grew up even before then listening to the GOOD stuff, now its all just.... changed in a bad way! i mean, if they allowed disney channel, PUT THE CLASSICS ON THAT CHANNEL NOT TEEN DRAMA >:( Amen to the real music and real movies back in the 90s or earlier! BOO to the no goods now a days and insane tv shows... ill admit one thing, some of the early 2000 movies are still as good, but u know x)
