The Psychiatric Industry has far too much invested in anti-depressants and research and development for drugs like Saboxxen to ween opiate addicts off of their chosen poison. Then, the addict just substitutes one addiction for another. Psychiatry is one of the single most deceptive and greedy industries that make the rules now that their lobby has the FDA in their back pocket.
The DEA and ATF have too much at stake if it were legal in the United States. Their strategy is "interdiction" or trying to stop the supply of drugs. The answer to the longest active war (which the US has UNSUCCESSFULLY FOUGHT: "War on Drugs") is to treat the addiction itself! Instead, they submit their budgets, and focus millions, billions of dollars on the actual substances. It is a shame that this continues to be status quo, and nobody even questions their motives....
It is not right that ibogaine isn't available in the United States. How can this possibly be illegal and kept from the millions of people it would help. Thousands of people are suffering, losing their lives, and ibogaine can fix it all. This is a government tyranny that needs to be stopped.
I don't want to discourage Debra Mash either, cause she's essentially on my side. but: the visionary experience induced by a visionary plant might have something to do with the healing effects? DUH!
lack of long term studies my cock. did this video even mention Gabon?
it doesn't please me to level strong criticism against a presentation that genuinely tries to present the value of entheogenic medicine, but it really disturbs me how they suggest that the likes of recent studies on rats and mice are the core of what indicates this medicine is promising. Hello! the Bwiti and the Fang could have told you that. this video is all, 'new scientific studies show hopeful results, too early to tell.' ignore generations of indigenous shamanic science as usual.
ibogaine has broad spectrum addiction healing properties, especially opiates, definitely including methadone. less effective for stimulant addictions. cactus works better for that. i believe the traditional preparation of the iboga root is more powerful and generally curative then the ibogaine extract. rather tough to get either in US.
@666punkrockgirl You can use it to get off tons of stuff. Opiates,Cocaine, nicotine and a bunch of other stuff.Methadone would be included in this.

Ibogaine is not an ancient root. The ancient root is called iboga. ibogaine is the name of less effective extract employed clinically. grrrrrr
